Senhora da Lapa Boulder

Legend says that the image of Our Lady of Lapa was seen through the cracks of a boulder by a small shepherdess. The news spread quickly and there were several pilgrimages to Monte de Penamourinho in Soutelo. Due to the large flow of pilgrims, the construction of a chapel was ordered in the exact place where the image appeared, standing out for its originality since it was built inside a boulder.
