The Queen’s Egg is a large granite block that was so named due to its comparison with the eggs laid by the Queen of bees. In addition to its grandiosity, it is also associated with enchanted legends. According to legend, a beautiful Moura, who spread skeins of gold in the sun, seeing two rival groups fighting for possession of the castle, opened a boulder with her magical powers and closed herself there with her skeins of gold, remaining enchanted forever.
